I loved the details, like staff and location, they were great. Good value, had a really good stay on time. The restaurant was very nice in the bar or maybe the restaurant opened at 7.

I would definitely return and would recomand this place to others. The property is fairly clean with a nice design, and the full English breakfast is perfect.

Everything was very clean, unbeatable location right on the river front, the staff were helpful. The food for breakfast was good, we got cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, toast and croissants.

Views appeared to be very very bad.

Actually everything was first-class, my next choice again in Newcastle upon Tyne. The staff was customer-facing and created warm atmosphere. The continental breakfast included plenty of meals. Liked elegant & functional room.

Hotel was stunningly beautiful, very good services, and it had perfect location right on the river. Loved the club twin room and the way it was setup. The staff was efficient and responsive to what we asked for.

Gorgeous staff and very clean beds, decent setting. It was magnificent and bathroom - stunning. Location just next door to the very centre, the Tyne Bridge, the river.

Facilities were really nice, even so Wi-Fi was very spotty.

All good - we appreciated our stay - food was exceptional and incredibly attentive staff. Our club king room was luxurious, with a large bed. The beach was excellent. Spotless place and impeccable service. We had a really lovely stay at this independent hotel.

I would recommend it to others specially for staycation. Picture perfect and neat place, everything was exceptional. Stayed in airy club double room with a view and comfortable bed and breakfast. The staff were happy to help and always had a smile. Prime location to a 12th - century fortress.

All in all, it was comfortable place for travelling to Newcastle upon Tyne. Glad to have a personal safe, a sofa bed and multi-channel television in the room.

It's a nice place to stay for a city break. Central heating, an ironing set and a study table inside the standard twin room where handy. Reception staff made us feel welcome. Also, we could visit discovery museum, it was 5 minutes' drive away.

House of tides, where you can eat, is just walking distance from the hotel. It's worth staying here and exploring Gateshead district.
